Customs Brokerage Sales Manager
DFDS is looking for a Customs Brokerage Sales Manager to join our Customs team.

In This Role, You Will
As a Customs Brokerage Sales Manager at DFDS, you will play a key role in expanding our customs brokerage business by identifying new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships. You will promote tailored customs clearance solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and foreign trade companies while managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and customer meetings to pricing, negotiations, and contract closure. Working closely with our customs operations and international teams, you will ensure a seamless customer experience, drive cross-selling opportunities, and contribute to achieving our commercial growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Drive active sales activities to acquire new customers for customs brokerage services.
Promote customs brokerage solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and foreign trade companies.
Identify prospective customers, arrange meetings, and conduct both face-to-face and online sales presentations.
Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored customs brokerage and logistics solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals, coordinate pricing activities, and lead contract negotiations.
Conduct regular customer visits in line with sales targets and business development objectives.
Identify and develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing customer portfolio.
Communicate effectively in English with international customers and DFDS' global organization, both verbally and in writing.
Collaborate closely with customs operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system and regularly report customer visits, sales activities, and business opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Deliver monthly and annual sales targets in line with the sales budget and defined KPIs.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
Good command of English (written and verbal).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, including proven experience in customs sales and business development.
Previous experience in sales, account management, and logistics operations.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to coordinate with different departments and effectively manage cross-functional information flow.
Problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.
Holder of a valid B class driver’s license, actively drives, and has no travel restrictions for field sales.
