In This Role, You Will
As a Financial Reporting Expert at DFDS, you will support financial and management reporting processes by ensuring accurate and timely reporting, contributing to financial analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reporting processes and timely delivery
Analyse monthly financial results by reviewing financial and operational performance, revenue and cost drivers, and variances versus budget and forecast
Contribute to the preparation of financial analyses
Perform detailed P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analyses
Support independent audit processes and coordinate with external auditors when required
Assist in ensuring the consistency and integrity of month-end and year-end closing outputs
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting outputs and dashboards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes and analytical reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a reliable finance business partner for reporting-related matters
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)
Minimum 4 years of total professional experience, including at least 2 years of audit experience in a Big 4 audit company
CPA license or currently in the CPA licensure process is preferred
Knowledge of IFRS-compliant financial statements and reporting processes
Strong accounting, reporting, and financial analysis skills
Experience in General Ledger analysis and reporting
Good command of English (written and verbal)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP is considered an asset
Strong analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Ability to coordinate data from different departments and support reporting and audit processes in a timely and accurate manner
