In This Role, You Will:
As a Financial Reporting Lead at DFDS, you will take full ownership of the company’s financial and management reporting processes, ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality, and insight-driven financial information to senior management. We are looking for a senior finance professional who can independently manage end-to-end financial reporting activities and act as a trusted business partner to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and own the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reporting processes end-to-end
Ensure that monthly financial reports are prepared in line with reporting timelines, with a high level of accuracy and quality, and are delivered to senior management on time
Analyze monthly financial results by assessing actual financial and operational performance, key revenue and cost drivers, month-over-month performance trends, and variances versus budget and forecast, and translate findings into actionable insights to support management decision-making
Communicate financial results to senior management through clear, structured narratives, analyses, and recommendations
Prepare and present monthly management reports and executive-level presentations for senior management and Board-level discussions
Perform detailed P&L and Balance Sheet, Cash Flow analyses
Responsible for independent audit processes.
Conduct in-depth revenue and cost analyses to identify key drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Act as the primary owner of management and Board-level financial reporting content.
Ensure the consistency and integrity of month-end and year-end closing outputs from a financial reporting and analysis perspective.
Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and proactively highlight performance deviations and their business implications.
Ensure clarity, consistency, and data integrity across all financial reporting outputs and dashboards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting formats, content, and analytical depth.
Serve as the primary finance point of contact and a trusted business partner to senior management on financial reporting matters.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)
Minimum 8 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years of audit experience at Big 4 audit firm is preferred
CPA license or currently in the CPA licensure process is required
Extensive experience in the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements, consolidation processes, and related disclosures
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
Proficient in detailed General Ledger analysis and reporting
Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end financial and management reporting processes
Advanced level of English (written and verbal); able to prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management in English
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and SAP is preferred
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable messages
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
