In This Role, You Will

As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments by ship and train according to pre-planned vehicle routes. Your duties will include planning, monitoring, and controlling tow truck assignments and partial shipments. You will proactively identify potential issues or unexpected developments that may impact transportation processes, alert operations managers, and collaborate on finding effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship and train organizations according to the routes of the vehicles planned to be shipped, planning, monitoring and controlling tow truck assignments and partial planning,

• Detecting potential problems or unplanned developments that may affect the transportation processes in advance, to warn the operation managers and to cooperate in finding solutions,

• Making ship and train reservations and uploading relevant information and documents to the system,

• Performing route density analysis and creating an intermodal transportation plan accordingly,

• Planning by coordinating with operation teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from a related field,

• Planning and operation experience in the logistics sector,

• Knowledge and experience in intermodal transportation and partial transportation,

• Proficient in English,

• Strong communication skills,

• Prone to team work,

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,

• Team player,

• Planning, organizing, tracking and reporting skills,

• Proficient in MS Office.
